On June 3, MHS’ Curator Shawn Harrington was honored at GNAT-TV’s annual Hats Off to Summer celebration and fundraiser at the Inn at Manchester and received the 2026 “GNATTY” Award for community impact. In particular, his dedication to preserving, celebrating, and documenting Southwestern Vermont’s history and making that history accessible to the community at large through his many collaborations with GNAT (such as Time Stamp and the Nothing’s New podcast) was recognized.

Congratulations and “Hats Off” to you, Shawn! We couldn’t be prouder of you or ask for a better curator than you (or a better recipient for the “GNATTY” Award!).
